General rental conditions and house rules

Our mission is to prepare and manage the Le Refuge du Sorcier accommodation, the unique property offered by JE LOUE TRANQUILLE, to provide you with an unforgettable experience.

JE LOUE TRANQUILLE applies these terms and conditions of sale to all its bookings.

Each stay includes standard cleaning, beds made on arrival and hotel-quality household and bath linen. We ensure that all essential consumables are provided (shower gel, shampoo, washing-up liquid, etc.).

Check-in

Arrivals are possible from 5pm. We make every effort to ensure that the accommodation is available at this time on the day of your arrival.

Extended stay and departure

Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM at the latest, unless a late departure has been exceptionally agreed upon. Any request for an extension or delayed check-out must be made at least 24 hours in advance, meaning before 11:00 AM the day before departure.

Any delay, failure to follow this rule, loss of keys, or return outside the proper procedure may result in a deduction from the security deposit.

Security deposit

A €300 security deposit is required for all bookings. It is pre-authorized (not charged) via a secure online system before arrival.

It is released the day after check-out, minus any fees for damages, theft, or breach of these terms. In case of greater damage, JE LOUE TRANQUILLE reserves the right to charge an equivalent amount and to take legal action if necessary.

Inventory on arrival

There is no formal inventory of fixtures. The accommodation is checked by us before you arrive. Any anomaly must be reported immediately to avoid any misunderstanding. Our team remains available for any assistance during your stay.

Booking and payment

A full payment is required at the time of booking. This amount includes the stay, any taxes, cleaning and linen costs, as well as any transaction fees.

Payments are only made by bank card via our official website. For booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking...), payment conditions are specific to each site.

Use of the accommodation

Le Refuge du Sorcier is rented for use as a temporary residence, as a seasonal rental. It cannot be considered as a main residence and must be returned at the end of the stay.

This tenancy is excluded from the scope of application of law no. 89-462 of 6 July 1989.

Prohibited activities

Any illegal activity (trafficking, handling of stolen goods, prostitution, etc.) is strictly prohibited. In case of suspicion, the booking may be cancelled without notice and reported to the authorities. A deduction from the security deposit may apply.

Cancellation

• Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival: full refund.
• Cancellation or modification less than 14 days: no refund.
• No show: the balance is due and the accommodation may be re-let.

Household linen

The provided linen includes: bed sheets, bath towels, and kitchen towels. All items are cleaned in an eco-friendly and professional manner by our service provider. The cost is included in the cleaning fee.

Cleaning

The accommodation must be returned in a suitable condition:

• Clean and tidy dishes
• Empty dishwasher
• Microwave and oven cleaned
• Empty bins

Any abnormal cleaning may be subject to additional billing.

Life rules

• No smoking in the accommodation and communal areas.
• Parties and music via loudspeakers are prohibited, out of respect for neighbours.
• In the event of serious non-compliance, immediate termination of the lease is possible.

Internet

A high-speed Wi-Fi connection is included at no extra charge.

Forgotten objects

If you forget an item in the accommodation, we can return it to you for a €30 handling and postage fee.

Responsibility of JE LOUE TRANQUILLE

In the event of force majeure rendering the accommodation unusable (e.g. water damage), we will offer equivalent alternative accommodation or full refund of the stay, depending on your preference.
